Do you have a hole in the wall and want your bond back?
Tried to hang a picture but used the wrong hook and ended up tearing your plaster?
Or avoided hanging anything altogether because you’re worried you’ll mess it up and don’t know how to repair it?
Same! So we’re fixing that.
Introducing AMSG Micro Skills Nights. Simple, practical short sessions where we learn those everyday skills most of us were never actually shown growing up.
This session is all about fixing holes in plaster walls properly. Not just covering it up with tape and hoping for the best.
We’ll show you how to repair it so it actually doesn't look like there was a hole ever there.
We'll cover:
What type of hole you’re dealing with (and why that matters).
How to fix small holes, blown-out anchors, and bigger damage.
How to apply filler so it goes on smooth (not lumpy and sad) sanding and finishing so it blends in with your wall.
Tips on how to colour match the paint on your walls.
Then we get hands on so you can try it yourself — patching, smoothing, and fixing real examples.
Bring nothing. We’ll supply everything. No experience needed. Just come along, have a go, and leave feeling way more confident fixing things at home.
If you came to our drills session, this is part two: you made the holes… now let’s fix them.
Haven’t done a Shed Induction yet?
Check out our Shed Induction Night info and come along at 5.30pm. One of the friendly AMSG volunteers will help you get inducted before the session starts.
